Charles E. “Charlie” Adams, 83, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 at his residence.

Charles was born on December 11, 1932 in Springfield the son of Edward and Mamie Adams.  He married Judith Rasar; she preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of Lanphier High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He owned and operated Adams Insect Control, Inc. for over 60 years.

Miss me but let me go.  When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the family and friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.  Miss me but let me go.

There will be a celebration of life will be from 2-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Top Cat’s Chill and Grill, 3211 Sangamon Ave., Springfield, IL 62702.
