Russell E. Farnam Jr., 69, of Chatham, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center ER.

Russell was born on June 14, 1947 in Springfield the son of Russell and Martha Farley Farnam Sr.  He married Sharon L. Majewski on September 9, 1973 in Springfield; she preceded him in death on October 12, 2011.

Russell worked as a manager for various convenience stores including, Hucks, Clark and Jiffi Stop.  He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and a past member of Faith Lutheran Church.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara “Barb” Lee of Chatham; two grandchildren, Joy and Cody; and one brother, Harry “Bud” Farnam of MS.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Schwartzkopf officiating.  Burial will be at a later date.
