Earl “Bud” Roscoe Law Jr., 82, of Spaulding, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center.
Earl was born on January 26, 1936 in Springfield the son of Earl Roscoe Law Sr. and Eileen Luschen Law.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1953-1957. Bud had worked for Pierce Oil Refinery, Weaver Manufacturing Company, several car dealers and retired in 1998 from Vickers Inc. which is now Eaton. He was a member of Eagle’s in Riverton, Sparrow Club in Spaulding and a union member. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, beer and his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Sharon Barroni.
He is survived by companion, Nadine Wanless; daughters, Cindy (Gerald) Powell of Springfield and Carrie Sue Holiday of Petersburg; step-children, Bill (Sharon) Wanless, Vickie (Tim) Hawley and Nancy (Pat) Bristow; three sisters, Margaret Forsyth of Springfield; Linda Wyatt of Peoria and Janice (Ken) Morrow of Chatham; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, January 11, 2018 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Reverend Larry Hanson officiating. The Inter-Veterans Burial Detail will conduct honors.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
