Donald Mohler Obituary

Donald C. Mohler, 93, of Rochester, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Heritage Healthcare in Jacksonville, IL.

Don was born on April 19, 1928, in Springfield, the son of Leonard and Rachel (Kussmaul) Mohler. He married Betty Morman on December 31, 1949.

Don retired from Fiat-Allis after 30 years. He then went on to be Road Commissioner for Rochester Township, and was the Sexton for Rochester Cemetery for 20 years as well as being a lifelong farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Kay White, and Ruby Bennett; and one son in law, Brad Winans.

Don is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Larry (Janet) Mohler; daughter, Pam Winans; and son Randy Mohler; grandchildren, Chad Mohler, Phillip Winans, Jennifer (Gabe) Anderson, and Samantha (David) Brownback; great grandchildren, Jayden Thompson and Owen Brownback; and sister, Barbara Shipman.

Cremation was accorded by Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester and burial was at Rochester Cemetery.
