Carla Hoffmeister Obituary

Carla Hoffmeister, 66, widow of Kevin S Hoffmeister who died in 1986 passed away on Saturday September 7, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born on January 10, 1953 in Jasper County, IL the daughter of Carl and Roberta (McSchooler) Flynn.

Carla was a teacher with District 186 before she retired after 20 years of service.

Her happiest times were at the beach with her friends or spending time with her daughter, Megan McKinney and her husband Albert.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin, and both of her parents.

Carla is survived by her daughter Megan (husband, Albert); 2 grandchildren, Brendan and Jonathan; her partner, Randy Tomlin; brothers, Michael (wife, Pauline) Phillips of Newton, IL, David (wife, Darlene) Phillips of IN, Paul (wife, Connie) Flynn of FL; and 2 dogs that she loved dearly.

Celebration of life is planned for Oct 20 from 1pm-7 pm at the VFW on Stockyard rd.
