Michael Lee Klauzer

Michael Lee Klauzer was born on August 23, 2000 to Herbert Klauzer and Paula Harper at Memorial Medical Center.  June 1, 2018 he tragically lost his life while swimming in Lake Springfield

He was given the blessing of having Godparents, Nichole Tennison and Damien Eades who were a huge part of his life.  He also had a stepfather, Mike Saunders.  Michael had four siblings, older sister, Marcey Klauzer who is the mother of his niece, Peyton and nephew, Steven.  He had another older sister, Samantha Klauzer, older brother, Lucas Klauzer and younger half-sister, Ronnie Saunders.  Michael had the blessing of having several God brothers and sisters, Devon Eades, Braden Lawler, Orie Palmer whose son, Waylon Palmer was like a nephew to him, Mathew Tennison, Andrea Tennison, Autumn Tennison, Kendell Frizzel, Brooklynn Hulett, Waylen Rutherford, Chelsie Stinson, Jordan Lawler, Blaine Browning, Willow Rodgerson and many more.

He was employed for Shane Akers at Archer Creek Landscaping.  He enjoyed working and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed aggravating his siblings.  Michael was a loving, kind, respectful, caring, hilarious, charismatic, amazing, goofy young man.  He was always doing everything he could to make everyone around him smile.  Michael was loved and will be forever missed by all the people in his life who will always keep his memory alive.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Dozier officiating.  Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.

A gathering of all Juggalos and Non-Juggalos who knew Michael will be held at the VFW on Stockyard Road after the funeral where we will be having a dinner in celebration of his life.  Any donations of food would be appreciated.

A special thank you to all those who have helped raise money to give this beautiful young soul a proper burial and special thanks to God be the Glory.  Rest in Shangri-La bro!
