She graduated from Ursuline Academy and was a member of Christ the King Church. Carol was an EMG technician at SIU School of Medicine’s Neurology Department for more than 25 years.

Survivors include children, Cathy Dobbe (Dale) of Pleasant Plains and Sally Healy (Peter) of Chicago, and sons John Cummins (Clarice) of Oakland, CA, and Tim Cummins (Elizabeth) of Lake Forest, IL. She was the proud grandmother of Jessica (Bobby) Vanasse and Ryan (Shawna) and Kyle (Nicole) Dobbe, Patrick and Ashleen Cummins, and Katie and John “Jack” Cummins and loving “CC” to 7 great-grandchildren.   She is also survived by sisters Kathy (Greg) Park and Marge Seidl and brothers, Pete, John and Jim Farley, sisters-in law Patsy (Jim) Herron and Nancy Cummins and brother-in-law John (Grace) Cummins and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Her greatest joys were family, friends and celebrating holidays and all life’s special occasions.
