Diane Kathleen (Gobble) Paulauskis

Diane Kathleen Paulauskis, 77, of Springfield passed away on September 11, 2023. Diane was born in Springfield on February 4, 1946 and was the daughter of Raymond and Harriet (Stremsterfer) Gobble.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Jay Goble and Raymond Gobble. 

Diane is survived by her son, Michael Paulauskis; daughter, Lisa Hardas; grandchildren, Sydney Paulauskis-Lauher, Autumn Hardas, and Isaac Hardas; brother, Preston Michael Gobble (wife, Sandra); and sister-in-laws Nancy Goble and Kathy Gobble; as well as several Nieces and Nephews and her dog, Gus.

For her entire life, Diane sacrificed everything for her children, grandchildren and her extended family. She always had a sense for when other people needed help, and unconditionally contributed whenever she was needed. Her relationship with Jesus Christ was the most important thing in Diane’s life. Her love for animals was infectious and they brought so much joy to her day. Diane spent her weekends attending and supporting her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was also a very conscientious and a hard worker for the Illinois State Courts.  She loved the outdoors, working in her yard, decorating, and home improvement. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life, and Diane will be missed by all of her friends and family. 

Diane will be honored at visitation services held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home 530 N. 5th St. Springfield, IL 62702 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. A memorial service will be held on Friday September 22 at 10:00am at the funeral home. 

Internment will be at Oakridge Cemetery in Springfield.
