Dear Cothren Family,

We were sorry to read about your mom's passing.....sorry, that is, for you loss. But there is no doubt that your mom has entered Heaven and is enjoying the presence of God. And for that reason, our sorrow is not without hope. Libbie was a great lady. I always admired her for the way she could get things done....doing more in one day than I could even think about doing! Her Christian life was a beautiful example of the Proverbs 31 woman. She impacted many lives as she served God through the church. She and your dad were both faithful supporters of God's work wherever they happened to live.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you recall the beautiful heritage she left you....

We send our condolences to all of you. Thank God we have our hope in His Word and know that Libby is now in His presence. I (Linda) remember how welcoming Libby and EJ were to me when I first came to Rome. I also remember that Libby was one of the women that taught me how a Godly woman should behave. I'm still learning. Kirby and Debbie, I thank God that He put me into the path of your family and the wonderful blessings that I have had knowing you all.

Terry of course still talks about growing up in the church with you all and has many fond memories to share.

Lisa and Kirby,
I have lost contact with your family and did not know were you each were living. I am sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a good Christian woman. I know you each and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss her.

My mom past November 10, 2014 and there are many days when it seems almost like yesterday. I think of her very often. Of course, I think of dad also. I think how nice it is they are finally together after mom was a widow for 36 years. I know your mother has been a widow for a number of years too, but I do not recall how long. It was a difficult thing for my mom but she handled it gracefully and with strength from the Lord as she did other deep wounds that you sometimes ask why Lord.
I hope your mother left peacefully. I can not say that for my mother. We did hospice at home for her final weeks and the Lord must have been battling with Satan because she was going through misery I felt. But I knew she'd been with God when the end came just as your mother is.

I hold many memories in my heart which help me. But pictures help me the most. I which the services were closer so that we would be able to come and show our support, but know we are praying that God comforts and holds you up as you weep and grieve. We wish you the best and ask that God will bless you all. Angela , Terry Errion and all the the Bryant Family (Previously of Rome Baptist Church)
