Jean and Family,
John was one heck of a nice neighbor and friend over all these years. It was always a pleasure to run into him either out in the yard or around town. He always made you feel welcomed whenever you ran into him. He always greeted me with a big smile and always asked how the family was doing.
He will be missed!
I will keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers.

Thoughts and prayers are with the Owens family at this most difficult time. May you find peace and comfort in your warm and loving memories of your loved one. I grew up in Virden and my family and Orville John's family were very good friends. We had a lot of fun growing up. Sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences to Mr. Owens dear family. May these promises from the Scriptures comfort and strengthen them to endure this time of sadness. Jehovah God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. And he will wipe away the tears from all faces. Psalms 34:18; Isaiah 25:8 NWT. In the future, people all over the earth will not suffer illness ever again. No resident will say: " I am sick." Isaiah 33:24; Matthew 5:5 NWT. Peace, and happy memories of Mr. Owens be with you.

Jean my prayers are with you and your family during this time of sorrow. John use to play cards with my Dad and they always had a good time. John was a wonderful person and will be missed by all. My prayers are with you and your family.

I'm so sorry to learn of John's death. John was a good man who loved you, his family, very much and wanted only the best for all of you. His faith was important to him and that was evidenced by his desire for the sacraments and his presence at 8:30 a.m. Sunday Mass, front row, to my left, with his O2. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren as they celebrated their sacraments or served Mass. May he rest in peace!
